Visa

With the exception of visitors from India, Bangladesh and Maldives, all other visitors to Bhutan need a visa.

Indian, Bangladeshis and Maldivian nationals can obtain a visa at the port of entry on producing a valid passport with a minimum of 6 month validity. Indian nationals may also use their Voters Identity Card (VIC).

All other tourists must obtain a visa clearance prior to travel to Bhutan. We can have your Visa processed for you prior to your departure. Your Visa will be endorsed on arrival. In order to process the visa we require a clear readable colour copy of passport(page containing passport number and face picture in JPEG or PDF format) at least 20 days prior to date of entry into Bhutan. Remaining validity of passport should be at least 6 months from the date of exit from Bhutan.

On finalizing the travel itinerary, full payment has to be remitted to the Foreign Currency Account of Tourism Council of Bhutan with intimation to Bhutan Aries Tours & Treks by bank transfer. Tour program becomes confirmed on full payment in advance.

Please note that payment to Bhutan for our tours can only be remitted by Telegraphic/Electronic transfer to the account of Bhutan National Bank. We will provide you with the appropriate bank account details for wiring your tour payments to Bhutan once your tour has been confirmed. This payment procedure applies to all licensed Bhutan tour operators.

A copy of the remittance of the transfer must be emailed to us.
