The Zodiac Aries is added to the name as it was that year, 2003 the business was actually processed through the Tourism Council of Bhutan. Manned by experienced and dedicated personnel and trained tour guides, Bhutan Aries Tours & Treks has its office at Semtokha in Thimphu.

Here we do not offer readymade Tour Packages but prepare an itinerary based on the interest of the client visiting us. In cultural tour packages, we target clients wishing to come here to attend various religious festivals called annual Tshechus, National events, historic and holy places of Bhutan such as the Dzongs (forts) and Monasteries. Some clients like to take dip in hot springs for natural healing. We have them in Bhutan too. With us you can enjoy several trekking trails both rigorous and simple. We offer the ones that are suitable to the clients visiting us. Nature tour can cover bird watching, research on flora and fauna, etc. for which Bhutan is world renowned. We have several National parks covering substantial areas with lush forests and wildlife.
Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) is an autonomous main body of the government of Bhutan to regulate the Tourism Industry in the country. The existing tour Operators are registered with the Council and are licensed by Ministry of Economic Affairs , renewable every year on payment of annual fee. 35% of the daily tariff goes directly to the government treasury. These funds are used by the government for the socioeconomic development of Bhutan, and hospitals, schools, and building and maintenance of roads and bridges. Part of the fund is also goes to the Tourism Council and the ABTO as subsidy to their management cost.
